GM Ambient Temp Sensor

PLEASE NOTE: This should work with all factory option Gentex mirrors offered in GM vehicles. It will also work with most other Gentex mirrors offered by other vehicle manufacturers, but not all. For example, certain Gentex mirrors offered in Nissans vehicles require a Nissan specific temp sensor. Please bear this in mind when making your decision to purchase!

This sensor is needed for mirrors that display the outside temperature. This sensor is mounted somewhere on/near the front bumper, preferably in front of the radiator to be as far away from the engine compartment heat/temperatures as possible. Two non-polarized wires then need be run between the sensor and the mirror to communicate the info and allow the mirror to display the temperature.
